Is It Possible Forza 3 Has Faults

December 26, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

Forza 3 was released in October and it seems fitting to start to talk about why this game is so good and what made it so.

Forza 3 is the higly anticipated follow up to the Forza games and features way over 400 cars from over 50 manufactures as well as having 100 tracks. The car detail in this game has been heavily improved upon with 10 times more polygons been put into each one since Forza 2.

The New Bits

Apart from the graphics and the hundreds of cars that have been added into the game, there are other new improvements within the game too. The in car driving view is something that has been wanted in this game since the first Forza and is something that I am using a lot. Another great thing is the fact that you can have one button assisted driving and full vehicle rollover with heavy details on the undercarriages. Real simulation drifting and SUVs have been added into the series too. You can also paint every single car in the game and create in game videos and upload them to the Forza site.

The game actually comes within two discs but do not worry you never have to change them over. The second disc is there for the reason of keeping 104 cars on it and a few extra tracks all which once installed are held on the console. The new season mode features a personal racing calendar that includes over 200 events including oval, circuit, drift, drag and timed events. The creators have said that no two calenders will be the same.

In reality a car does not always have to be expensive, Honda Car Lease can be a good way to do things.  This can also be done in the form of Audi leasing as well as leasing vans.

JoySticks For The Army?

December 20, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

Gaming seems to have heavily influenced the army over the past ten years or so. The latest venture has gone perhaps a bit too far in that the military has taken the game pad controller and has started to use it to control various things within the army.

Lets be honest here, are there any real benefits of using this kind of thing? The military have no need to now be sitting on a mounted position to control things which makes it a lot easier. With the pad they can walk around and control things in a similar way that you can control an RC Helicopter. Does anyone remember that crazy film that starred Robin Williams as a toy maker who has to try and stop his uncle from taking over the world by using remote controlled tanks and planes.

it is possible that a time may come where the army will not have to send troops in at all and just allow them to sit back and control all of these tanks and things from behind the lines? No this is never going to happen because it is the bravery, determination and wits that wins wars not some stupid machine. This is just another option to take when it comes to fighting a very modern war, it will never be used without the help of people and to think that it would is madness.

It is wondered how many deutsch connectors and multicore ties are actually needed to develop this brilliant technology. Is it really fair to put all of this guilt onto the game pad creators? The main thing is that all of this was not made to be used by the army so perhaps it is best left in the hands of a gamer and out of the military’s reach. Let us just hope that they used hellermann tyton to make sure everything is secure enough to work.

Racism In Gaming?

December 6, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

There have actually been a fair few games made that are set in Africa and some of them have caused some really big arguments. Here are just the best ones out there at the moment.

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil or Biohazard 5 in Japan was released earlier this year and is of course one of the many games in the Resident Evil survival horror franchise. As ever the game was developed and published by Capcom and strangely enough the game is actually the seventh instalment in the series. Capcom did not put the game into a real African town but a fictional one known as Kijuju. Out of all of the games set in Africa it would seem this one caused the most trouble as in the first trailer the only people you were killing were black people. Thankfully the game was deemed as non racist.

Call Of Duty- World At War

Although the entire game did not take part in Africa there were a couple of missions that did and this time the race row came from how the Japanese were shown in the game. On the other hand it is widely known that the Japanese treated all of their POW’s really badly.

Far Cry 2

Once again this game is set in a town that is made up. The reason the game is set in 2008 is because it was released on the same year. You play a mercenary who has been given the mammoth task of hunting down someone known as the Jackal. The thing is the Jackal is causing a lot of the problems as he is supplying both sides with weapons. One of the reasons that made this game so good is that you can go wherever you want in the map.

If you think that some of these locations look like they are worth visiting then get over to the real Africa and see what you think? {Tanzania Holidays, Mozambique Holidays} and of course Zambia Holidays could be the right holiday to take.

Colour Me Nintendo DSi Blue!

November 28, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

The Nintendo DSi is a portable videogame console and appears 3rd in the release of Nintendo DS gaming consoles. The Nintendo DSi was launched in Japan, North America, Europe and Australasia between the last two years. Plenty of the DS Lite’s functions are kept in Nintendo DSi regarding aesthetics. Moreover  a serious upgrade is that Nintendo DSi has 2 digital cameras able to be utilized in the games or enjoyed as a individual camera device. You are able to begin playing with a Nintendo DSi blue package.

Concerning the Nintendo DSi blue, you should first bear in mind that when the device was first released in Japan, it was only available in two variations; black and white. But when the DSi was released in the US, it offered a redesigned blue color in addition to black. Subsequently the pink, blue and lime green editions were made available in Japan as well.

Of course, the Nintendo DSi blue offers all the features you need to begin gaming. Usually it has a blue skin, microphones, audio splitter, earbuds, USB charge wire, screen protector set, screen cleaners, styluses, videogame box and wrist wrap. However, this is not a fixed list. Various stores may offer more add-ons and some less, as a large number of these accessories are optional.

You should use your Nintendo DSi blue to line up the games machine. After setting up make sure that the bottom display of the console is in sync with the touch screen, which is designed to accept input from the plastic device called the stylus. This should be connected to the optional wrist strap. The frontal part should house 4 face buttons, the directional pad and the Power, Start and Select buttons. The power wire should input from underneath the recess at the back side of the Nintendo DSi blue. It should also have a slot for game cards and a couple of shoulder buttons.

Thus, your Nintendo DSi blue has set up the much awaited game console, so you can get going instantly!

Need For Speed Shift is worth a go

November 23, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

After just getting in after returning the rental copy of Shift I have to say I might have to go out again to buy it. The previous additions to the game have not been brilliant. The last one that was worth a ten minute go was Undercover and that was at best, okay.

This game has actually got a chance of competiting with the new Forza game which is on the way later this month.

The playability of the game really is quite brilliant with many hours having to be spent finishing all of the races, tuning the cars to suit your needs and playing it on the various difficulties. The online modes are also going to take you a lot of time.

This game isn’t about used cars for sale but more about the custom made models from the likes of Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen and every other car maker you can think of.

In terms of playing for fun , Need For Speed did seem a lot better than Forza but then again I have only managed to play the Forza demo. Forza has a bigger selection of choice when it comes to cars and also seems to have a far superior graphics engine.

This year EA have actually put all of their focus into the driver, although the cars still look brilliant. Everything in the game is supposed to make you feel like the driver, any crash you make will turn the screen blurry and even go black and white.

All you need to do is play the two demo's for the games and decide for yourself, you could always think about getting them both!

Xbox Live – Gold And Silver

November 5, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

Xbox 360 currently gives users the means to interact with one another, using the add-on function that is Xbox Live. If you’re an Xbox Live user, you are automatically part of the chat list. So, you can chat and debate anything with friends and family via the Xbox 360 headset. Moreover, you can also interact and organize a gaming throwdown with countless other Xbox users.  Xbox  Live also lets you buy content in Xbox Live Marketplace, download additional videogame content and even watch preview videos.

If users are enticed by these features and wish to become an Xbox Live member, there are two accounts to choose from, classified into two distinct services – gold and silver.

Initially, the silver service is just the free option of Xbox Live. Choosing this version, gamers just simply get online and download games. Adding to this, users are given the ability to integrate their own voice to chat and interact with fellow Xbox Live players. However, this is all Xbox Live silver provides users with. If you’re attempting to find the true Xbox Live experience, Xbox Live gold is what you must go for.

Secondly, the Xbox Live Gold service has many functions that make it a grand way to game on the web. Aside from the brilliant Xbox Live functions, it provides players with a large number of further add-ons. There is improved chat allowance, as well as interaction with a host of Microsoft products, including messenger and further chat and video programs. The most notable function of Xbox Live gold is the way in which your online avatar is shown to the community.  Each account is allowed to form a different ‘motto’ displaying to other gamers online and even linking to Facebook.  Additionally, you can also hold a record of your accomplishments. As you play more you gradually forge a reputation, and if users like you they can rank you positively, making it better to avoid interacting with players holding negative feedback.

Users may also build a friends list that will list all of your selected chums. It will also inform you when any of your pals come online. There’s also a player list that will list the last fifty users that you have met.

Xbox Live is as good as Xbox gaming gets.  It not only offers great gaming but also provides you with the chance to share your experience with other gamers!

November 5, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

The Nintendo DSi has a lot more features in it than the original Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite. Furthermore, it is significantly improved in many different ways. This has left many of us craving this impressive hand-held product, but as the question of purchasing comes up, people want to acquire the Nintendo DSi cheap. There’s a few methods for buying your Nintendo DSi cheap, but if you want to make a deal  approaching the best, you have got to go looking. In this case, the web would be your ideal bet; the costs are very competitive here and web shopping sites usually offer second hand Nintendo DSi cheap. This brilliant marketplace can often offer free delivery options if you’re in luck.

Currently, the usual cost  most retailers have listed for Nintendo DSi is around £149.99. However you may find various outlets pricing Nintendo DSi reduced by £5. Watch out though, many shops mask the total amount through the delivery cost mentioned earlier. For example, store A might be selling Nintendo DSi for £147, with a delivery cost of £2, and store B might be offering Nintendo DSi for £151, and keeping the delivery free of cost. So buyers are actually finding Nintendo DSi cheap at Store A.  This is only one of the tactics utilized by retailers.

Another technique of obscuring the price is by showing VAT exclusive prices. Some retailers display the price including the VAT whereas others exclude the VAT from the cost.  Whereas the difference is clear when VAT gets added at check out, the majority of buyers go on with the purchase anyway.  customers might be frustrated after having gone through the complete check out process, but want to go on with the payment regardless of the increased price, and sellers know this.

Finally, another way of getting your Nintendo DSi cheap is by searching for free accessories included in the deal. Sure, they do come at a slightly higher price but this stops you having to worry about shelling out for these accessories later.

Therefore, don’t simply go by the price ticket in your quest to discover a Nintendo DSi cheap. Apply your thought and judgment to it and you’ll come out with a great deal!
