Do You Need A Street Fighter 4 Fightstick?
With the hype about the launch with the fightstick, it’s hardly surprising in which it’s nevertheless a excellent improvement to almost any arcade game player’s gear collection. It really is significant to remember though how the Street Fighter IV Fightstick is nowhere near the whole sized tournament edition for intense hardcore play.
The Street Fighter 4 Fightstick is really a tight stick that is certainly about $80 less costly and also is unquestionably significantly less high performing as the TE. Regarding the selling price, you will not have sanwa features or competition ready elements. It will never substitute for delight as part of your gear collection and it’s essential to recognize it like a product being intended for mass consumption. On the other hand, don’t get the wrong notion – the Street Fighter IV Fightstick has a good deal going for it!
It has the officially accredited art within the entire body and also as opposed to the tournament fightstick which includes a stylized custom logo; the following fightstick showcases a variety with the most significant figures from the game. Come across Ken, Chun Li, Ryu, E. Honda and Ryu within the -panel. The form looks as if it was handpainted and is exclusive to most sticks. The make is much of what you’ll be expecting at that price.
The majority of laid-back game enthusiasts have cherished this kind of Street Fighter IV fightstick for that price and the comfort. Generally, it is a good to play with stick, while the select and start buttons may have been at a easier setting rather then along at the backside. Although organization put them presently there avoiding unintentional pausing with the game, a lot of end users would have desired them on the right side -panel alternatively.
Although this particular joystick functions fairly well, the big difference comes in the features. It is definitely much less liquid versus tournament edition with stiffer corners plus stiff moving as well. Regarding die hard followers of arcade games, this joystick is really a strict no-no considering that it’s not necessarily suitable to hardcore fighting. On the other hand, this fightstick was intended considering the beginner and intermediate consumer planned and they have served the purpose in that regard.

2010 Games You Have To Get (2)
This is the last part of the games you need to get next year.
Halo Reach
This game has got to be better than Halo 3: ODST as that was actually a very disappointing game indeed. This game will be Bungie’s last Halo game as they have left Microsoft to get on with their own things. However the rights of Halo still lie with Microsoft and they have created 343 Industries to handle future Halo projects. If any fans have read the Halo Reach book then it will no doubt be set around these events and I am thinking it is going to feature more of a squad type game play but this hasn’t been confirmed by Microsoft as of yet.
Final Fantasy XIV
This game is going to be the 14th in the series, surely it needs to finish soon. The game itself is of course coming out for the first time on a Microsoft platform which is something that Sony fans are not happy about at all. Apprently the battle and job systems have changed a lot since the previous instalment by putting in the new armoury system. Although the 360 launch will be later than the others it is going to be a huge welcome to any 360 owener.
2010 is going to be a big year for games with many not mentioned here on the way like the new call of duty. Toys and games are becoming really important every single year and many people are mistaken when they call video games boys toys. One of the best things you can do is actually sit down and find toys reviews before you go out and buy something.
So there you have it, you can decide on what to get at the end of the day but make sure that when you do decide that you choose the right game.
Goozex: Videogame Trading and HD Movies
Where do gamers go?
The choices you have as a gamer are:
- Buy (Online, Ebay, used, Gamestop..)
- Rent (Gamefly, blockbuster…)
- Trade (Goozex, Switchplanet..)
Renting in the past at your brick and mortar rental place can easily set you back more then $5-$7 every week like Blockbuster. There have been other online rental game sites that charge a monthly fee like /month for one game out like Gamefly. Renting isn’t all together bad but playing videogames isn’t like watching movies. There is a considerable larger amount of time invested in videogames then in movies. Most movies range from 1.5 hours to epics of 6 hours. Where most videogames you could get a good feel for a game in 3 hours but most sports games and long role playing games could be played for more then 70 hours.
This is where Goozex Game Trading steps in. Goozex allows the gamer to keep the game as long as you want but have the option to sell it too. There is only a $1 transaction fee if you request a game on their network. So basically you can trade in your older games and build up Goozex credit until you get enough for a newer title and just pay the $1 transaction fee. All shipping costs are handled by the sender so if you are requesting a game you only pay the and not the shipping and handling. There is no monthly membership so you can stop at anytime or go at a slower pace. This is ideal in the sense that you could play the game until you are actually sick of it then send it in for credit. No hurry as you play and ship at your own pace. Plus you OWN the game. From then on the game is yours, not a rental.
The network is peer to peer in that you can only request games and send games to other members. There is no single central warehouse and the pricing of the credits of the system are in points (100pts = $5). The pricing of the game is determined by market demand, release date, initial cost of the game, and a couple other factors. Most xbox 360 titles will go for 800-1000 pts which translates to $40-$50. This isn’t bad for a used game. Some money can be saved buying used but there is still tax and travel time/cost. Goozex gives you free shipping to you with no tax charge. You also have an option to buy credits if you want but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you have no games to send in or nothing of yours is being requested. The game prices will fluctuate and you will see the price change in your history. I’ve had a couple games I requested and I can see that price increase/decrease. It doesn’t happen that much but some games change +/- 200pts depending on market demand.
So why use Goozex instead of a used videogame store or an auction site with games like Ebay? You just need $1 to pay for the transaction fee. Most people don’t like to continually shell out more money for a game and then feel like the games they bought are depreciating at a very fast rate. Selling your game for cash anywhere will not give you that much. Selling it to a store they will mark your game up to make money. Selling it online at an auction site will incur fees and you still have to pay for shipping. You can get great value from Goozex and just trade in games you don’t want with a demand. There might be more difficulty in sending older sports titles as those don’t have much demand once their season is up like trying to sending in EA sports Madden 2005 will be a hard game to sell to someone on the network. Older games on ebay are a hassle to sell. You can build your own game list and no insertion fees.
Lots of integrated information like tips and reviews. The best feature is the ability to see how many copies of a game are listed on the network verses how many are being requested. This will let you know if you have a game people want or if you can possibly get a game on the network. Goozex determines who gets the game by matching up users. There is a waiting list that is generated and when you add a game you will see in what place you are waiting for that game. This is a fabulous idea as impatient gamers can tell if they should expect a game soon. There is also a distinction between games you want now and games you have for holding. They will show you your place in line per game. Great place to build your wishlist. Building a large list ensures some games will continue to come to you. I requested Crackdown and I was like 60 people back. Turns out I got the game in less then 2 weeks. Just because you’re really deep in line doesn’t mean you won’t get the game soon. Newer games do get pushed out in the system fairly quickly. You have the option of trading just the game, the game with instructions, or the full package that includes case and instructions. This is helpful as some gamers tend to lose instructions and/or cases. The value of the game doesn’t go down as the credits don’t reflect what is included. This is because the user requesting the game can have the option to request only full packaged games, games with instructions, or just the game itself. I have not had a problem with getting full packages as I’ve gotten over 49 games and I’ve sent out 54 in under 2 years of being there.
Why NOT to use
For this site to be a perfect 5 star site I would like to see:
1. More users (will there ever be enough?)
2. More old school games (nes, snes, saturn….)
3. is still not free. I’m a member of another site that has no transaction fees yet still protects the members.
4. Video game trailers for each game
5. More user interaction like user reviews and tournaments…)
All the above are small tweaks to the system that is already very functional. The main reason someone would NOT want to use this system is time and money. If you have the dough you would just buy it new down the street? Why wait? The main draw to the site is how much money you can save and the community there. If your not interested in connecting with other gamers and plan to play all your games alone then the only reason to use the system is money. If you wanted to save money but are impatient then this sits is NOT for you. I’ve experienced about 1-2 month turn around time for new games. Why? You are placed in a waiting line. The order of the Que determines when you get the new game, but more importantly is how many are available? Most people will play a new release for a certain amount of time before listing their games. The wait times do get long. Say you want a popular game that normally runs 40 hours to complete. You gotta factor in that a player like me would take over 1 month to beat a game like that. Seasonal games with many updates like Madden will hit the system quick but it’s also a bad thing. You don’t want to hold a game too long or it will lose it’s value. Trading for early on might be for 1000 points but in a couple months with the market being saturated it could be 500 points in no time losing half of it’s value. Not Goozex’s fault but some games just don’t move well.
Current Goozex Simultaneous Transaction on the Network as of Mar 11, 2009 = 4793
New Class of Xbox 360 Accessories Here To Improve Upon Xbox 360 Games
You probably already know it, Xbox 360 Games offer some of the most extraordinarily immersive experiences anywhere, online or off. With blockbuster titles like Halo, Fallout, Call of Duty, and Panzer General : Allied Assault, it’s tough to see what else could probably improve gameplay any more than the long way it is come. In fact , it was not but a couple of years ago that clunky old-school controllers continued to be used. Today the user interface has improved noticeably, with on-board accelerometers to process spatial data for human kinetics in gaming. But something on the horizon may be the most revolutionary thing to hit videogaming at home in our time.
Xbox 360 games can be closely matched to Xbox 360 Accessories for the most seamless experience of really immersive gameplay. But what if there were no need for any Xbox 360 accessories save one?One uber accessory to replace them all? Long the stuff of science fiction and comic books, this latest of Xbox 360 Accessories would also be the last. It would be the one thing wanted to play all the Xbox 360 games made from then on.
Not heard of it? That’s as it was just recently announced by Microsoft. It’s a electronic eye of sorts that will obliterate the need for physical controllers, hardware that is held in one’s hand. This new soon-to-come electronic eye will sense player movements in space, so hand held controllers with built-in accelerometers won’t be mandatory. This latest advance in gaming technology is scheduled to be released inside the subsequent year or 2, and will be mounted separately from the console. But all user movement data will be supplied to the console just the same. Try to imagine playing computer games with nothing less than your own body and body movements!
This veritable sorcery eye that Microsoft has been developing will even track eye movements to switch point-of-view in a first-person shooter. Imagine Halo or Call of Duty or gong of honor without pesky controllers but with instead a light gun and your own body and your own eyes! As you turn right the screen capture reveals scenery to your right side, and as you turn left the panorama shifts with you!
So while today’s Xbox 360 games are quite complicated, the Xbox accessories to come will need software that rethinks the whole notion of onscreen and off. Hardware and software exist in a symbiotic relationship, and it’ll be engaging to see what transpires next now the hardware has taken a quantum jump forward!
Which Console Is The Best?
Sales
If of course you are looking into sales (which I am not) then Wii comes out on top. This console has easily been their worst yet and this comes from someone who owns all of their previous entries. The question to ask is why?
Well the simple reason is that they have stopped caring about all of the Die hard fans and started to generalise their games for the general market which means we are constantly seeing rubbish games in which a Nintendo fan wouldn’t touch with a 10ft barge pole. Mario Kart Wii was at best disappointing as they seemed to take out everything that made Double Dash good. Mario Galaxy 2, nice one Nintendo, lets copy your previous ideas.
So by that paragraph you can see that the Wii is out of in it my opinion.
Online and other
It cannot be said that the PS3 is a bad console with games such as Uncharted proving just how good the console can be. However, online, although free, is slow, poor and features many people who cannot even speak English within it. Okay, but why not add some language barriers like Microsoft? Is Blu-Ray the only decent thing going for the PS3.
The Xbox 360 has the better games, the better online service and just a generally better experience overall. So my recommendation to you is not to get a Wii for the family as it will only be played once. Getting a 360 or a PS3 is wise.
To make sure these will not have to be replaced for some serious money, get game console insurance or gadget insurance. Of course you could also get some mobile phone insurance while you are at it.

What is the best games console out there?
This is an argument that has been in debate not just for this generation of games consoles but since the beginning. Which console is the best this generation, Wii, 360 or PS3?
Although if you are going on the basis of sales the Wii is top of the market it just doesn’t seem to be doing it for me personally. it is the games that are the problem on the wii not the console. The Wii has not seen a proper Nintendo game in over a year. Come on Nintendo, make games for the fans. Although there is the promised Mario Galaxy 2 and Legend of Zelda DS both seem to be complete copies of the previous game and this certainly is a first for Nintendo.
The PS3 is without a doubt a very good console indeed. The only reason I really bothered with this console was for the Blu-Ray. Sometimes free is not positive at all. The servers and games are really laggy and the overall experience is very poor. The games available just for the PS3 are very poor to Microsoft’s Halo and Gears of War with Uncharted, Metal Gear and Resistance all being very poor games. The PS3 wand seems to be a bit off a rip off from the Wii as well.
The overall experience I recieve from the Xbox seems to be the best which is why it is number one on my list. The games are a lot better and the online service (although paid for) never really recieves lag. As well as this Xbox Live receives regular updates that you can actually see happening. Project Natal is also on the way for the Xbox which hopefully will mean only one thing, domination of this generation. Microsoft are still trying to stick to their fans which is always good.
