The Warrior Spec Guide To Fast Leveling
Unlike other classes, there’s more than one warrior spec to level your warrior to lv 80. They have to great leveling specs to choose from
Arms – This build focuses on a 2h weapon and is great for leveling and PvP
Fury – This Spec is designed for dual-wielding 2 weapons and in viable for leveling and raids
Leveling a warrior for many players means using a sequence of different talent specs.
The best thing to do is to start off with the Arms talent tree. This warrior spec is more effective than the fury build in the early levels. The reason is that the Fury talents you get in early levels aren’t the best ones.
Now, when you hit 30 you will aldready have the Berserker Stance and some talents points to spend. That’s a good moment to re-spec and switch to the Fury talent build. Now, the Fury build is not necessarily better than the Arms build, but in the later levels it’s just as viable to get to level 80.
Many warriors use the Fury build to level from lv 30-70 and gather some tanking gear. With this gear they start to visit instances from lv 70-80. The reason for that is, that nowadays you can dual spec: You can have two talent builds at the same time and for example switch from the protection build to Fury and back whenever you want.
Let me recap the different talent specs for you so you can choose the warrior spec that suits you the most:
The Arms tree focuses on a slow but powerful two-handed weapon. The DPS stays the same, no matter how slow you hit. But hitting less frequently means every hit does more damage. And the Arms tree has lots of talents to give you additional swings.
The Fury spec focuses on wielding two one-handed weapons. Later you can even use 2 two-handed weapons! You will hit really fast and need some gear to give you a better hit rating. This warrior guide is better suited to deal high damage over a long period of time.
Now, once you hit lv 80 you have the real choice: Dominate the Battlefields with a PvP spec or raid instances as protection tank or off-tank with a fury build? Take the warrior spec you like the most. You have the choice.
Warriors – Amazing Tanks and Damage Dealers
In WoW, the class of Warriors is considered to hold the first place when it comes to the tanking abilities and when it comes to their dps abilities, they also don’t lack. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Since the dual spec ability became available to all of the WoW players, playing a Warrior became even more fun.
Playing a Warrior tank is definitely fun but after some time it can also become boring, because everybody likes a change once in a while. When a second specialization became available to the players, you were able to make a dual build for your Warrior, one for tanking and one Fury or Arms for dps which definitely can make your char more fun to play, more useful and of course, it will save a lot of gold you would spend anyway for respec. For a Warrior is easy to gather two sets of different gear, one for dps and one for tanking. If you posses the adequate gear for certain build, you can switch when needed, in example tank an instance to help your friends, or you can also change to a dps Warrior if you feel like doing some PvP or just grinding. It must be said that the Protection Warriors are favored by many because tanks can be rare on some servers.
Protection talent build would be your choice if you decide to become a tank. The talents that can be chosen in the Protection talent tree will make the Warrior a tough cookie. Protection talent build will increase the amount of health of your char, his armor, threat and it will improve his shield abilities.
If you want to build up your char as a melee dps there are two other talent builds to take into consideration – Arms talent build and Fury talent build. Arms talent build is mostly preferred by the PvP players since it has many good PvP talents and a few very useful attacks, for example Mortal Strike, which will decrease the healing done on a target affected by it. The use of Mortal Strike can prove to be indeed mortal for some arena team combinations. For more information on WoW class guides, read our review: Warcraft Pros Guide
If you prefer PvE more than PvP and you want to dps with your Warrior, Fury talent tree will need your attention. Some players have complained that Arms Warriors are also better in PvE when compared to the Fury Warriors. However, you will need to try it out yourself in order to get the clear picture which talent build is better for you. After all, with the Fury talent build, you will receive several nice attacks and other nice talents and as a Fury Warrior you will be the only class that is able to use two Two Handed Weapons which gives the character a great look!
Through the history and in any mmorpg, Warriors have played an important role while fighting battles. The Warrior is also the only class that can use all the weapons that can be found in the World of Warcraft. A Warrior wears plate and in the combination with a good shield he will be able to become a great tank and while equipped with two-handed weapons, a Warrior will be able to make a lot of damage.
