Don’t underestmate how important mounts are in World of Warcraft. Mounts are particularly important for leveling efficiently and with good mometum. The number one tool in WoW to ensure speedy leveling is the mount.
Without a good mount you cannot travel to questing and leveling locations nearly as quickly and you will lose a lot of time traveling by most other means.

So don’t foget to prepare and save money up so that you can buy or acquire the ultimate mounts for your character and race. A lot of players neglect to put aside enough gold to buy the best mount they can when they reach level 40, and this slows them down a lot. As you get close to level 40 put a lot of focus on acquiring a good mount and you’ll progres faster than other players.

A mount that falls from a defeated enemy is called a ‘drop mount’, and they only fall a certain precentage of the time, not 100% of the time. The rare dop mounts in WoW are the best in the entire game.
The holy grail of Warcraft is a few of these rare drop mounts. They are so seldom found that 99% of WoW players will never even see one. These are the rarest of them and how to find them:
Kael’Thas in the Tempest Keep will drop The Ashes of Al’ar 1 percent of the time. The Ashes of Al’ar is a Phoenix made from fire and magic – it’s very cool. Another cool one is the Swift Zulian Tiger, which the High Priest Thekal in Zul’Gurub will drop just 0.06% of the time! This giant tiger is beautiful, fast and deadly.
The next one fals from Bloodlord Mandokir only 1 time in 70 or 80 – the Swift Razzashi Raptor. An ultra-fast raptor. And Kael’Thas in the Heroic Magister’s Terrace will drop a Swift Hawkstrider 2% of the time.
Last but not least you can find a Amani War Bear to ride in the 4th chest in Zul’Amen – it falls out every time. An awesome bear mount.
