Get Everything You Need To Know To Be a Better WoW Hunter

February 17, 2010 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

In WOW, as well as many other games, the term hunter refers to a class that uses long range weapons. This class is generally weak and not good at melee fighting. WoW provides the hunter class with various means to stay away from their foes such as traps and pet system.

Selecting Race
If you choose to be a hunter the first few steps will have a huge affect on your life. Here are the races you can choose from: Night Elves, Dwarf, Draenei, Tauren, Troll, Orc, and Blood Elves. Here is a list of their skills that will boost a Hunter’s performance

1. Night Elves: Shadowmeld allows them to hide and quickness give them extra dodge.

2. Dwarf: Gun Specialization which will increase their critical hit rate and Stoneform which can counter debuffs such as disease, bleeding and posion.

3. Draenei: Can heal yourself or your pet; it also has Heroic Presence which improves hit by 1% for all member of the party.

4. Tauren: War Stomp can help them escape to a distance. Endurance increases health by 5% and can be stacked with Endurance Training.

5. Troll: Bow Specialization adds to their critical hit rate which can be coupled with berserking for a higher DPS. HP regeneration and beast slaying are more reasons to pick this race. See how being a Troll allow you to make even more powerful hunter at WoW Troll Guide.

6. Orc: Command will increase your pet damage by 5% and Blood Fury can boost your attack power.

7. Blood Elves: Arcane Torrent silences your enemy and refills your mana.

Every race has it’s own abilities that can support you as a hunter; my recommendation: narrow your choice to Night Elves or Dwarf for the Alliance faction and Orc, Troll, and Tauren for the Horde Faction. The reasons behind my recommendation lays in your next step: selecting your talents build.

Talents Build
Hunters, like other classes, have three talent trees to focus on: Beast Mastery, Marksmanship, and Survival. Different WoW Hunter guides might recommend different things so you need to pick the one that best suits your playing style.

Beast Mastery
Orc is best here due to their command traits which boost pets’ damage 5%. They also resist to stun and have Blood Fury to boost their damage. Pick a DPS type pet to help you dealt greater damage such as cats and owls in PvP and a tanking pet such as boar for leveling.

Marksmanship
Dwarf and Troll are best for this path because both have weapon specialization so they can cause more damage. If you playing this hunter type; take a tank pet such a bear or boar and stay within safe distance from your enemies. If you choose Night Elves, shadowmeld is useful, but only in PvP.

Survival
This type of hunter usually plays as a support in a group; they pull enemies to their group using their long range, and then buff their groups with aspects or aura; usually this hunter type doesn’t have that much DPS since they invest most of their points in Survival tree. Tauren is good choice for this role since it also has war stomp and increased health.

After deciding on the best talent build, slow leveling process will add up your stress. Find out some of my methods to speed it up at wow quick leveling.

WoW is a complex game and have unlimited possibilities; while this basic WoW Hunter Guide is good if you are just planning to create your first hunter, there are various other methods to create a powerful hunter using different race and different talents build; you just need to be creative. I recommend that you check Ultimate WoW Review for a guide that can boost everything in your hunter life: fast leveling, huge amount of gold to fund your gears and mounts, and pvp domination.

WoW Leveling Guides and Class Quests

October 25, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

World of Warcraft Leveling Guides are designed to get your character to Level 80 as fast as possible. To do this, they get your character following a certain chain of quests that is designed to rack up experience rapidly. But you need to take into account the unique class quests for each character class. But how do class quests fit into the race to level as fast as possible?

Each character class has unique attributes, abilities, and quests. That’s why you may love playing a Warlock, while I’m big on Hunters, and so on. Even if you could get to Level 80 without developing the unique characteristics of your character, it would take a lot of the fun out of playing.

So how does developing your character’s unique attributes fit into the typical WoW Leveling Guide? It doesn’t. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of work to integrate the unique quests for each class into any kind of leveling guide. Some guides focus only on the common quest path. They leave it up to you to figure out when and how to do your class quests. But that doesn’t mean no one is doing it right.

Both Dugi’s Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide and the Zygor Guides make sure you get your class quests when you follow their guides. When you use either of these guides, your character will automatically be guided to do relevant class quests as part of their progression from Level 1 to Level 80. This means that your character will be a fully-functional Hunter, Warlock, Druid, Death Knight, or whichever class when they’re done blasting through the levels.

If you want to succeed in the end game content, you need to be sure your character completes their class quests. And forcing you to figure out how to fit your quests into a generic leveling guide isn’t acceptable. Don’t settle for a leveling guide that doesn’t integrate your class quests right into their progression.

If you want to level fast without neglecting your class quests, you need the right levelign guide. All you need to do is Click Here.

Zygor Guide – Why Zygor Guides are So Popular

October 25, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

Recently I decided it was time to try playing as a Blood Elf. Since I wasn’t up for grinding my way to higher levels (again), I decided to buy the Zygor Horde Guide and see if it would really help level my character faster. Let me tell you what I’ve learned so far.

Some History

I hadn’t found previous leveling guides to be of much use. There were various reasons, but the biggest was the way that you had to keep getting out of the game to consult the guide and figure out what to do next. It got so frustrating that for a while I used two computers whenever I played: one for the game, and another to display the current guide page. The hassle was bad enough, but the way it kept pulling me out of the game to go consult the other computer really made it less fun.

Why Zygor is the Best

My Zygor Horde Guide works within the game. How is that different than the old guides I used? It means that the guide information appears in a window right inside the game. The information is much more accessible, and you can stay “in” the game. This makes the entire experience vastly better and more enjoyable.

You’re also in control of the amount of information the guide gives you. You can close the Zygor Guide window completely if you just want to focus on playing. If I do want help, I get two choices. I can have s little window with just enough information to know what I need to do next. If I really want help, I can switch to the large Zygor Guide window with just a click, and get tons of information about my current situation and what I need to do next.

Another feature I love is the distance and direction arrow. This puppy always points to the next objective, and updates in real time so I always know where I need to be heading. It’s a great time saver, particularly once you have a flyer and can go directly toward your objective. You get all the information you need without ever having to look away from the game.

Does This Thing Get You Through the Levels Faster?

All that’s cool, but you’re probably wondering if the Zygor Leveling Guide accomplishes its mission of helping you level super fast. Well, when I was ready to test the guide for the first time, my brother offered to escort me with one of his characters that was several levels higher than mine. I told him what I was doing & that I would do this session on my own, following the advice in Zygor. We went our separate ways. A few hours later he decided to check in on me and see how it was going. When he did, he confirmed my opinion of how good Zygor Guides are. His first comment was, “Hey! How the #3$%^& did your guy get so big so fast? Where do I get a copy of that guide?”

If you’re tired of the long, slow grind through the levels, you need Zygor Guides. To get ‘em, just Click Here.

Beginners Guide to World of Warcraft

WoW Beginners Guide

What is WoW?

World of Warcraft or WoW as it known, is a “Massively Multi player On-line Role-Playing Game” or MMORPG. This means thousands (sometimes tens of thousands) of players,  from all around the World exist in the same on-line game world at the same time. They abandon the real world to undertake heroic quests in a land of fantastic adventures..

The game has two warring factions: the Alliance and the Horde. When you have decided which side to play there are nine classes of character to choose from: Shaman, Warlock, Warrior, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest and Rogue. Each class has its own unique set of talents and abilities. You can, depending on the class of character that you have, choose to build your character’s talent trees for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, healing or a combination of these.

There are 10 races to play: Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead, Blood Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves and Draenei and multiple professions you can have: Alchemy, Black smithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, and Inscription. (Note: Within the Rogue class there are two unique secondary professions: Lock Picking and Poisons).

There are thousands of quests to complete with many different kinds of weapons and transportation. In addition, there are four types of Realms which will be the very first decision you will have to make before playing World of Warcraft. Your reward is money and reputation which will increase your skill and power. A good place to start is to find a decent World of Warcraft Levelling Guide to help you through this mystical world.

Within the game itself there are two “modes” of character:

  • Player Characters (which are controlled by real people)
  • Non-Player Characters (which are controlled by the games’ software)

So you can find yourself playing a “real” person as well as the games created opponent.
Your character can earn copper, silver or gold to fund your adventures. In addition you will need to work on the different skills for your character.

There are a whole host of guides around and all do pretty much what they claim but some do it better by having additional features such as forums and members areas which help you level your character from 1-70 more easily. Many also have detailed gold guides and the latest up to date information on, for example, Wrath of the Lich King which takes you up to level 80! However, with that said, players are more than free to progress at their own pace and pit their skills against multiple on-line opponents. Click here for more information of finding some great beginners guides: Best World of Warcraft Guides.

WOW is Blizzard Entertainment’s 4th game in the Warcraft series and is now played by over 10 million people world wide! It starts 4 years after the setting of Warcraft III in the world of Azeroth.

The Horde and Alliance are opposing factions locked in a battle for control of the land – and neither side is backing down. Horde and Alliance players can battle each other, but they cannot interact, trade or even talk to each other. So if you have friends you would like to play with, make sure you belong to the same factions!

First Aid Guide World of Warcraft

October 4, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

No player should ever ignore first aid. You will suffer damage on your character at some time or another no matter how good or what level you are. First aid can help you heal after battle injuries, so it is an ideal skill to have. To perform first aid on other characters as well as yourself we have made some tips on how to do this.

The first aid skill is considered a secondary skill, which means that you can merge it with any other profession. This skill really comes in handy and is most likely the best secondary skill you can learn. Here is how to begin.

This guide will help you level in your skill quickly. Two main components or items are required to begin. Bandages or anti-venoms are required for all first aid skills. You will need to find anti-venom or complete quests to get that item when you first get started. Anti-venom is a extremely useful item in which different situations call for different types of this item.

You will not have the best bandages yet, because they will only be available once you advance in skill, but they are better than nothing. To get an apprenticeship in first aid go to your local trainer. You can always go back and learn more, but this will get you started.

Once your skill level is 150 you will need to buy the Expert First Aid – Under Wraps item. If you are an Alliance, this can be located in the Arathi Highlands. Dustwallow Marsh is where Horde players can find theirs. To level past 150 you will need to obtain this item. Your goal is to get to 375, so by this point, you are well on your way.

For a great profession guide visit The Ultimate WoW Guide

When you achieve a skill level of 225, you will need to complete the Triage Quest which will swiftly bump you up to 300. To move up quickly in your skill level, keep in mind that you can go back to your trainer and learn advanced bandage wrapping at 240 to quickly level in your profession.

Anti-venoms are accessible as you advance in skill. You will be able to get this from your trainer at skill level 80. 1 silver and 50 copper is the approximate cost for this, depending on where you purchase it. After you hit skill level 130, you will be able to purchase the strong anti-venom which typically sells for about 2 silver and 50 copper.

Priest Talent Builds For World Of Warcraft: What You Need To Know

September 30, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

To all of our fellow WoW players, we are here today to share something with you that you may or may not know. As many of you know, starting at level ten, you will start to gain talent points. Those talent points you gain can be used in order to make your character better. Come on, we know you want to make your character better and that is why it is important to learn about the builds before you do anything else. There are many classes on World of Warcraft that you can enjoy. To name a few of those classes, you have the mage, paladin, warlock, hunter, death knight and priest. You have many others, but those are some of our favorites. Out of all the classes, today, we have decided to talk about priest talent builds.

Most of the talent builds can be identified by the names of the talent trees. The tree that has the most points will be names first. A disc/holy priest contains thirty one points in the discipline tree. Then, in the holy tree, you will find twenty points. There are generally no more than fifty one points in one tree. This is because fifty one is the required number to reach the highest talent. However, there are exceptions to this matter. The act choosing a path in this manner is known as speccing. When you change the characters spec, this is called respeccing. Does that make sense?

Generally, you will not be able to find over fifty ne points in a single tree. Why? Because this is the amount that is required in order to get to the highest talent. Starting at level ten, you will receive a talent point each time you go up a point. Let us continue by telling you a little about the three talent builds for the Priest.

When it comes to the Discipline priests, you will find that they are healers as well as damage givers. Take note that discipline priests are not main healers because they lack the AoE heal spells. However, they are great tank healers.

The Holy Priests have strong AoE healing spells. Do you know what this means? This means that they have a high heal output. They are great raid healers and make perfect tank healers.

Next on our list, we have the holy priests. Many individuals who enjoy healing people in their party and raid enjoy this type of priest. Why? Simply because they have some pretty good AoE spells, which means good healing power. They are not only good raid healers, but they are also good tank healers as well.

Priest Talent Builds are not complicated at all. You should also know that you can change the talent builds if you find that you do not like what you have chosen. There is now dual talents, which you can read about in another article.

Warcraft Pro Class Guide Review

September 19, 2009 · Filed Under Video Games · Comment

Are the Warcraft Pro’s Guides the Best?

Have you just began to play WoW or are you a seasoned Pro?. If you have a little experience, you have probably tried to track down all of the games nuances, to discover the best possible build and gear, to keep track of the few spots you discovered through the many hours wasted wandering aimlessly in Azeroth…Alas, one of the things that makes the game so unique, brings you to the understanding that you could never know all of its secrets playing by yourself. Click here for more: Warcraft Pro Guide Review.

I bet most of you do not know enough about your own class. Sure, you have a few wins under your belt in PvP, but that’s more because the other players are just as inexperienced about the fundamentals as you are. This means if you shove a load of players into a room, someone will win. But it doesn’t mean they are the best at what they do!

Okay, enough of the brow beating. I don’t want to alienate my partners in crime. In fact, what I’m really hoping to do here is to show you just how much you need help with your class. So depending on your tactic, whether you’re PvP or raiding it’s safe to say you don’t have all the tools – it maybe the mount or the gear. Most people don’t and that’s why sites like WarcraftPros.com even exist in the first place. They understand that there are people out there like you that don’t know what they are doing and need a little help. Click here for more: Best WoW Class Leveling Guides

I stumbled across this little beauty I was looking up some information on playing as a Paladin. I have played many of the other classes like Hunter and Druid but decided to give Paladin a shot. However, I was really getting bored having to do all the research on the forums etc. I wanted to enjoy the game and have a few pointers to help me do so. That’s how I came across WarcraftPros and how I learned that there are in fact people out there who know a lot more than me about this game. I was a bit embarrassed to say the least…

Once I had bought the Paladin it all started to become clear. Of course, I knew the basics more or less, but I didn’t know the exact talent specs to start with.  I then realised I didn’t know how to defeat a Druid in PvP!. Basically, I learned the few things I didn’t know, reinforced what I thought I already knew and am now in the process of rotating between destroying opponents in PvP and backing up tanks in raids. This Paladin is now one of my favorite characters and without sounding too much like a cliché, it’s all thanks to WarcraftPros Trust me in this – you should definitely check it out.
