Enchanting Leveling Guide
In WoW, enchanting is one of the primary profession, and is in fact one of the easiest and can be one of the most profitable. The WoW Enchanting Guide that follows will give you a brief intro into enchanting, the profession levels and their associated character levels.
Basically enchanting will let you either give or take magical properties with respect to an item. If you take magic from something, you store the magic as essence or dust. If other players happen to need something enchanted, you stand a good chance of making some decent gold.
WoW Enchanting Guide – Levels
If you already have a level 5 character, which is required, then all you need to do is find a trainer. You’ll be able to find an enchanting trainer in one of the big cities. Ask a guard for a trainer if you can’t find one yourself. Two places that enchanting trainers can be found are Silvermoon and Stormwind. - Apprentice: Character Level 5; Skill Levels 1-75
- Journeyman: Character Level 10; Skill Levels 50-150
- Expert: Character Level 20; Skill Levels 125-225
- Artisan: Character Level 35; Skill Levels 200-300
- Master: Character Level 50; Skill Levels 300-375
As I mentioned, the enchanting profession itself is pretty easy, but leveling can be a little challenging. This WoW Enchanting guide won’t go into the details of leveling.
However, one quick thing I want to mention is that leveling can be expensive, so when you choose this profession just be sure it’s right for you. Just as an example of how expensive enchanting leveling can be it can cost up to 500 to get you to level 300 and a further 5000 to get you to level 375. As of the release of Wrath of the Lich King, there are a total of 450 levels for this profession. Each level becomes progressively more difficult and expensive.
