Hunter – Stand back and watch
The Hunter is a great class to play and is mainly known for his ability to have a pet at his side while shooting from distance. When you start playing you will have to do it all yourself but once you reach level 10 you will get a quest which will eventually make you able to tame beasts.
Once you have a pet at your side you will see that leveling a Hunter is a real piece of cake. You can send in your pet to attack a target while you yourself just stand at range and fire several shots with your bow, gun or crossbow to deal some extra damage. Besides being able to control a pet Hunters can do a lot of other neat stuff like firing different kinds of stings and shots on their enemies. Click here to watch the video WoW Hunter
They can also make traps which can freeze, slow or deal damage which are triggered when an enemy gets close. These traps make playing a Hunter even easier even though you can only have one trap active. When things get really tricky for a Hunter he has the ability to Feign Death, which make the Hunter act like he’s dead which will make all its enemies run off most of the times.
Next to being very good in solo situations a Hunter is also a good asset to Dungeon, Raid and PvP groups. They have various boosts in their talent trees and their traps can come in handy in these situations as well. The pet of the Hunter will definitely add to the overall DPS and will even be able to offtank when needed.
It’s not all about the pet though when we talk about Hunters, they themselves can deal heavy amounts of damage and have other abilities that can aid the raid like Misdirect, which is used to misdirect threat to the tank. This makes the whole experience a lot easier for tanks, healers and dpsers because they do not have to keep their eyes on the threat meter. It is understandable that a lot of players wanted to play a Hunter because they are quite unique and this has created a lot of competition.

Because there are so many people playing a Hunter it might be hard for you to find slots in a party or raid and this is the reason why it would be great if you can find a nice guild where you can have fun with in raids, dungeons, arenas and battle grounds. Because of the competition it is nice to be a good Hunter and that is why you should find a talent build that makes you perform well in groups. The Hunter’s talent trees are called Survival, Marksmanship and Beast Mastery.
Beast Mastery is definitely the best talent tree for leveling. The Pet gets a lot of nice boosts in this tree which makes the job a lot easier and the player doesn’t even have to do anything in most cases. Besides a Beast Master you will also get access to talents that will make you run faster which will also allow you to level faster.
The Marksmanship talent tree will provide the Hunter with several new attacks which make him do even more damage. The Marksmanship talent build is often used by raiding Hunters. The Survival Built is often chosen by PvP Hunters because it offers a lot of Survivability.
The Survival talent tree also gives a boost to the Hunter’s traps and also gives him more Stamina etc. Besides this a Survival Hunter will also receive a couple shots that are great for PvP like Explosive Shot and Shatter Shot.
