To gain levels in World of Warcraft (WoW) you have to be aware of many different factors as you follow the game. And each different character and class levels in slightly different ways. Firstly, you need to gain experience by both completing quests and by killing creatures. As you finish more and more quests, you rise up through the levels. But to really level as fast as possible, there are a few other things you need to be aware of.

You must also use a technique called ‘grinding’, Whereby you are killing creatures because you want the experience, and not because you are trying to coplete a quest. When you kill a creature – the stronger your opponent, the faster you gain experience. But you really want to find a creature that your character can kill with relative ease so you can kill as many as you can as quickly as you can.

Another important thing is that you collect all the right special items as you go along. this makes a huge difference to how fast you level. You can read about all the first special items you need here: Must-Have WoW Items

it’s also very imortant to take care with the gold you have with you all the time, to level fast and consistently. You will always need to have a steady supply of gold throughout the game, to pay for mounts, repairs, items, and plenty besides. Make sure that you are always collecting a good amount of gold – this is why it’s important to continuously go on quests – and that you are always in the green.

It’s important to know that when you are rested in WoW you gain experience and levels 200% faster! This is a very useful thing to be aware of. It’s kind of a feature of World of Warcraft that is designed to help the casual gamers, who only play for short periods of time, and then take long breaks. For your character to be in a rested state, you also need to take a break fromthe game in real time, one way you can deal with this if you are very eager not to stop playing but you want to gain rested experience is to play two character simultaneously – so one rests while the other fights.

There is a leveling technique called ‘power leveling’ which is quite popular and effective. It requires cooperation with another player who has a character of a higher level than your own. Then their high level character accompanies you through high level quests. When you do this you gain much more experience than before, but it is tricky and a bit dangerous. You could find another player and offer them gold or itms for this service, or even to help them power level another one of their characters. On the other hand, you can simply ask a friend.
