Disenchanting Ability
When you choose Enchanting as one of your primary professions you will also get the ability to disenchant items. Any uncommon, rare and epic item you don’t need, even if it is SB (soulbound) you will be able to disenchant into valuable essences, shards or dust. The items you will get with disenchanting are used for enchanting other items and are also quite valuable, which means that you can sell them on the Auction House and make a nice profit.
Gear is constantly being changed. During the levelling you will change many sets of gear as well as when you get to level 80. With the new dungeons and raids, new tier sets, etc. your need for improvement will just grow. Every time you get a better item, it will render the old one useless, and you will be able either to sell it to a vendor for some poor amount, or to disenchant it. Benefits of Enchanting
As mentioned above, Enchanting is used to enhance your char’s stats. However, there are benefits exclusive to Enchanters and that is an ability to enchant their own rings. You will be able to enchant your own rings to wear the desired statistics depending on your class’ needs and only the Enchanter will be able to have his rings enchanted. It is especially useful for healing and dps classes, and there is a great number of players who decide to level up Enchanting for the ring enchants solely.
What are the Enchanting requirements?
For the start, an Enchanter needs a trainer in order to learn his skill. Enchanting trainers can be found in all the major cities around Azeroth as well as in Outland and Northrend. Enchanting Rod is the next thing that you will require. Different skill levels require different Enchanting Rods. Enchanters can make those rods by themselves, although they will need to acquire the appropriate Fel Iron, Arcanite, Titanium, Adamantite or some other type of rod from a Blacksmith player.
How to get the mats
Enchanter can gather all the mats he needs for leveling up of this profession by disenchanting various items. However, in order to get to uncommon or rare items you will need to grind or to buy them on the Auction House. This comes are very time-taking and expensive. Enchanters will do best if they pair up Enchanting with some crafting primary profession, like Tailoring. For making new items with Tailoring, you will need a great number of cloths. Still, cloth is extremely easy to gather, making these professions combination an ideal solution for easier leveling.
How to profit from Enchanting?
Enchanting can bring you some nice profit, whether you decide to sell the products of disenchanting on the Auction House, or to offer your enchanting services to other players for a fee. When it comes to selling skills, the higher enchants you got the more chance you will have to charge for your work.
