WoW Engineering – Crazy Inventors and Junk Keepers?
From all the professions you can choose in WoW, Engineering is probably the most fun one. Engineers have a task to combine and create various parts in order to produce various useful items and even junk. They are able to craft bombs, guns, bullets, armor pieces, pets, bots, ground and flying vehicles, etc.

Is it hard to level up Engineering?
Engineering doesn’t looks like the other professions. It requires time and patience but it will certainly prove to be fun. In order to skillup Engineering faster you will need Mining because many of the engineering items are made from products of metal. You would be able to level this profession without Mining but it would cost you thousands of gold.
What useful items can I make?
Engineers can make all kinds of items including a lot of junk! However, many items Engineers can craft are really useful and can help greatly in some situations.
One of the notable products of Engineering are definitely the Field Repair Bots and Goblin Jumper Cables. The Repair Bots have proved to be very useful in instances and raids where all the players can repair after wipe and continue without the need to run out and repair somewhere else. Bots are used to speed up the process and make it more convenient.
Goblin Jumper Cables are particularly useful if you belong to a Hunter or a Rogue class. When a raid group wipes on a boss fight, for example, a Hunter can feign death (Rogue can go stealth) and then make an attempt to resurrect a fallen healer who can then rez the whole group. This is also a time savior and a very convenient invention.

Specialization
As an Engineer you can specialize yourself in a specific field. When you reach skill of 200 you will be given a choice of specialization. Your trainer will give you the opportunity to choose between Goblin Engineering and Gnomish Engineering. The difference between these specs is in the location of their teleporters and in abilities given by their trinkets. Gnomish Engineers can use Transporter – Gadgetzan & Transporter – Toshley’s Station while Goblin Engineers can use Dimensional Ripper – Everlook & Dimensional Ripper – Area 52.
Engineering since the latest expansion
Engineers were really happy when the Wrath of the Lich King was released. As from this expansion Engineers are able to craft motorcycles! The Mekgineer’s Chopper is a schematic available for the Alliance players while Mechano-hog is a schematic available for the Horde players. Getting all the materials together is quite time-taking and expensive but nevertheless the popularity of these motorcycles is growing each day.
The Engineer’s pets
Engineers can craft many crazy gadgets but pets are surely their most fun creations. You can make two different pets namely the Bombling and LiL’ Smoky.
