WoW Herbalism – Nature at Hand
Herbalism belongs to the gathering professions in WoW. If you have taken this profession from the beginning, you will have no problem leveling it up together with your character. What is Herbalism all about?

How do I find herbs?
It is very easy. Herbs are scattered all over the map. However, not all areas are rich in herbs and there are some that are considered to be a herb paradise. With the ability to Find Herbs you will be able to track herbs on your minimap. If you would like to have a record of the herbs you have already picked up then try using an addon such as The Gatherer. Gatherer will keep record of the herbs picked up by any of your party or guild members who have installed the same add-on.
Benefits of Herbalism
Herbalism will provide you with Lifeblood ability. This ability is instant, costs no mana and it can heal you about 3600 over 5 seconds. However, this ability has a three minute cooldown. While leveling, this ability can come in handy especially for classes without any healing abilities.
Also, you will be saving considerable amounts of gold on flasks, elixirs and potions. Considering that they are necessary consumables in any raid, you will be able to create the ones for your own need and also to profit by selling them on the Auction House. Choosing Herbalism according to your class
Are there any particular classes who are considered to be suitable for herbalism? The answer to this question is, no. Any class can become an Herbalist even though some classes tend to need it more than others. Healers and tanks are choosing herbalism most often, because they most often need flasks and potions. Druids have a slight advantage in herb gathering because of their instant flying form which allows gathering while staying in it. This will make herb farming a lot easier.

Novice gatherers think that normal bags will do just fine for their gathering needs. Just wait and see! They will soon realize that they are short with space in their bags.
